About Patty Perkins

I'm Patty, writer of the devotional blog, Beside Quiet Waters. I love writing, reading and taking long walks with my camera. I've been married to my loving husband for 40 years. We have two grown sons, two lovely daughters-in-law, and two amazing grandchildren. I am thankful for a place to share spilled ink, in hopes of encouraging others to find daily hope and inspiration in God's Word.

An entrusted day

Psalm 37:5 “Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun.”*

When sun comes peeping from the east

and dark begins to fade,

then righteousness will light the morn

and justice rule the day.

…..

If this day I commit to you, and

entrust the plans I’ve made,

and let the One be in control—

who knows a better way.
