Acts 9:25 “But his followers took him [Saul] by night and lowered him in a basket through an opening in the wall.” (NIV)*
My, how things have changed.
There you are
dropping to the ground,
dangling in a mercy basket–
spared by those you once persecuted.
…..
One encounter with Light,
and you’re no longer the same.
God’s chosen instrument,
blinded so you could see, now–
a world changing escapee.

What a character he must have been…and his commitment unwavering. His life and writings certainly challenge me!

Its awe-inspiring to see how God’s Spirit forges brotherhood between opposing sides…

God sure likes to specialize in the unlikely and the unexpected. Thanks, Patty, for reminding me to see things through his eyes and not mine.

Oh, thank you! Paul stands out to me as someone totally changed and totally used by God…chosen by God. Yes, unlikely and unexpected. Appreciate your comment!
