mercy basket

Acts 9:25 “But his followers took him [Saul] by night and lowered him in a basket through an opening in the wall.” (NIV)*

My, how things have changed.

There you are

dropping to the ground,

dangling in a mercy basket–

spared by those you once persecuted.

…..

One encounter with Light,

and you’re no longer the same.

God’s chosen instrument,

blinded so you could see, now–

a world changing escapee.

What a character he must have been…and his commitment unwavering. His life and writings certainly challenge me!
