Thoughtful Steps

Proverbs 14:15 “A simple man believes anything, but a prudent man gives thought to his steps.” (NIV)*

Look before you leap

Think before you speak.

Give thought to every step

Know where the map is kept.

Ask counsel of the wise

Do as they advise.

Pray for God to guide

From wisdom do not hide.

………………..

If it’s too good to be true

Take time to think it through.

Common sense is still in style

Have patience…it may take a while!
