The Word was there when the world was made

As breath of God infused life into clay.

………………..

He walked this earth pouring out words of life

Truth stirred into dirt and hearts discerned right.

………………..

He’s bread of life, living water that sustains

Captivating dust with words of change.

In today’s reading, I was intrigued with people hanging on to the words of Jesus…truth resonating with their very souls.

Luke 19:47-48 “Every day he was teaching at the temple. But the chief priests, the teachers of the law and the leaders among the people were trying to kill him. Yet they could not find any way to do it, because all the people hung on his words.” (NIV)*

Continuing to pray for Boston this weekend.
