Unlike me

Psalm 86:15 “But you, O Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness.” (NIV)*

So unlike me, is He

I jump to conclusions

Dish out accusations

Easily offended, that’s me.

………………..

Words come out of the blue

Or, are they smoldering

Churning beneath surface calm

Waiting a chance to spew?

………………..

God brims compassion and grace

His love and faithfulness flow

Ever slow to lose his cool

Patience, etched on His face.
