The Prayer Book

I’m excited to tell you about my first book!

Prayer, Inviting the Lord into Everyday Life, was published by Humble Faith Ministries. It is a book of honest prayers and poetry, intended to draw the reader into the intimate presence of our Lord. Though written primarily with women in mind, men can also enjoy and glean from the encouragement to trust God with daily struggles. The photos by Niki McEllhatan speak for themselves and point beautifully to our Creator, they need no written words.

I want to express heartfelt appreciation to Chrissie Angel, Cyndi Bujarski and Erin Nonaka for the countless volunteer hours of editing and graphic design they poured into this project. Their vision for and commitment to this book superseded my expectations. Thank you, ladies! It was a team effort from the start.

Humble Faith Ministries originally asked if I’d write this book to be used as a gift for donors. Plans shifted, and it’s now a hardback book available at the Humble Faith Ministries shop. It makes a great night-time read on your nightstand, or a thoughtful gift to a friend in need of encouragement. The prayers are based on and written around Scripture. Scripture references for each prayer are listed in the back of the book.

I pray that lives are blessed through this endeavor and people drawn closer to our Lord Jesus in the realities of their everyday lives. I’m feeling blessed beyond belief to have been part of this project. God is good.
