Create Something When There’s Nothing In Me

By the Word of the Lord the heavens were made, their starry host by the breath of his mouth.
— Psalm 33:6

For he spoke, and it came to be; he commanded, and it stood firm.
— Psalm 33:9

Oh, that You would create something
when there's nothing in me.
Do Your thing,
wonderfully.

Less of me allows more of You.
I must decrease, and
You must increase.

The goal, to be
no longer empty, but
filled with thee.
Lord, where I am weak, be strong. Where I am blind, help me to see. Where I am discouraged, lift me up and where I trip, teach me, please. As you filled the empty sky with galaxies that extend further than eye can see, so too, fill the void in me. Replace the emptiness with thee.

In Jesus name, Amen.

"I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full" (John 10:10 NIV).
