Come quickly

A candle—the dark to light.

Be my anchor in waters deep

A stronghold for mountains steep.

…..

Be my shelter in swirling storms

A balm for pricks and thorns.

Be my help—do come and save

Come quickly, Lord, with no delay.

One never need worry about being too needy before God. Plead that He come…and come quickly!
