My arbitrator

Job 9:33 “If only there were someone to arbitrate between us, to lay his hand upon us both…” (NIV)*

Job’s heart longed for an arbitrator — a connection between God and man. Someone to speak on his behalf, to bring reconciliation with the creator.

God had an answer to the pleading of Job’s Old Testament heart. A New Testament Jesus. The Word tells us Jesus utters to God what we ourselves cannot even begin to express. Our heart’s desires and concerns are brought to God through Jesus. Our eternal peace with God is sealed through Him. He made a way to God.

Jesus is my arbitrator and friend. He is for me. And, you too.
