He sets free

Psalm 146:7 “…The Lord sets prisoners free.” (NIV)*

IMG_3346

Fires to crackle

water to flow,

puddles to splash

& bare feet for grass.

…..

Fireflies to sparkle

stars to twinkle,

lightening to strike

& thunder to crash.

…..

Rain to sprinkle

breezes to blow,

work to satisfy

& play…just to be.

…..

If all these things

he created,

then surely he made me–

to be free.

Maybe he’ll break down iron bars and set the prisoner free, literally. Or maybe he frees at the core of being–giving new life in the heart of hearts. Whether operating behind iron-bar circumstances or released from binding situations, he does indeed set prisoners free.

Now go…and be free.
