a fresh new day

Psalm 143:8 “Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way to go, for to you I lift up my soul.” (NIV)*

A fresh new day

an empty slate

paths running all directions.

….

Show the way

these feet to go

walking in adoration.

…..

Drop a word

into my lap

something to carry through.

…..

Hope to sustain

love to propel

trust placed securely in you.

Your unfailing love surrounds throughout the day, whether I recognize it or not! Oh, to have word of it in the morning…as day begins.

Psalm 143:8 is in in the June 25th reading of The One Year Bible.
