Praise him in the morning

And in the noontime, too.

When evening comes

And day is done–

May then his song ring true.

……….

In every in-between time

Ascribe him glory due.

With voice & string

Let praises ring–

Alleluias, through and through.

……….

The poetic language of the Psalms touches my very soul. The Psalmist could have said, “from sunrise to sunset”. But no, it is elegantly phrased to grace the ear, “From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets…”* Ministering words to be sure. Sigh.

Have a blessed weekend!
