The High Rock

Psalm 61:2 “…lead me to the rock that is higher than I.” (NIV)*

Rushing

Rushing (Photo credit: thelearnedfoot_)

Oh Lord, hear my cry

Take me by the hand

Pull from swirling waters

On solid ground, stand.

………………..

Give strength to rise

To an elevated place

Above rushing waters

Saved, by your grace.

………………..

Reveal the bigger picture

From up high looking down

Above life’s turbulence

Emotions, that drown.

………………..

Set me on that cliff

From torrents lifted free

Lead to the high rock

Much higher than me.

………………..
