Tablet of Your Heart

Proverbs 3:2 “Let love and faithfulness never leave you…write them on the tablet of your heart…” (NIV)*

The heart’s a tablet to be written on

Blank pages to be filled.

The good, the bad, the ugly stored

Where ink of life is spilled.

Love accepts you as you are

Yet nudges to be more.

Faithfulness lays a foundation strong

And guides through every door.

Hear their gentle tappings,

It’s not too late to start

Let love and faithfulness reside

In the tablet of your heart.
