All These Things

Matthew 6:26 “Look at the birds of the air, they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them…” (NIV)*

Matthew 6:28-29 “…See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin…not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.” (NIV)*

The lily gives no thought

To clothing she will wear.

The birds don’t toil for food to eat

And yet, it’s always there.

How much more does He provide

For those who seek Him first.

Those who tend to kingdom cares

And after righteousness thirst.

Matthew 6:33 “But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” (NIV)*
